This year’s Older Adults Christmas Meet is being hosted by Waterford Sports Partnership in Waterford Institute of Technology Sports Arena.
Looking forward to a fun-filled festival of sports and activities with teams from Waterford and Kilkenny already confirmed to take part.
We are putting together a team from Carlow who are interested in having a fun, active and social day out.
Each county will compete against each other in teams of 3 or 4.
There will be a round robin played with teams from opposing counties facing each other in games such as lobbers,
flisk, bowling, basketball, target games, balloon badminton, frisbee, problem solving games and relays.
This is a fantastic opportunity get involved in sports and activities while meeting new people and having a lot of fun on a day out!
A fun and social event – tea and coffee will be served at registration and there will also be tea/coffee and sandwiches at lunch time.
There is a charge of €6.50 a head to cover the cost of food. Christmas jumpers are encouraged!
A warm-up event has been organised for this Wednesday 22nd November at 10.30am in St. Laurence O’Tooles AC, Askea.
