After months of pre-season, the long wait is finally over. Junior soccer returns to Carlow. This season has the extra excitement for our club as it kicks off the league campaign for our new management structure at this level.
New coach Podge Doyle will lead the first team into action against New Oak Boys B in Division 1. While our second team are at home to St. Fiaacs in Division 3. Both squads have been rejuvenated with young talent coming from our underage setup.
Young players Kieran Collins, Billy Lennon O’Brien, Gavin Hutton McGarry and Darren Hayden are in line for their competitive debuts as they have been called up across both squads. These young players have excelled in pre-season and are fully deserving of their call up.
