The Carlow Juvenile League has confirmed that all juvenile games on Saturday 5th December are called off due to the expected bad weather. As a player or parent this frees up at least your Saturday morning if not the entire day and maybe even your Friday night!

Below are some suggestions for how best to fill this time.

Players

  • Attend a disco
    • The club is granting all players permission to attend a disco on the basis that no more Friday discos will be attended for the remainder of the season.
  • Sleep
    • For those players who struggle to make the early kick off every Saturday morning, the club is granting permission to sleep on that bit extra this week and get enough sleep to ensure you can make it on time next week.
  • Save your 2 euro
    • The club is encouraging all players to save their 2 euro in Leighlinbridge Credit Union.
  • Watch Soccer AM
    • The club is encouraging all players to enjoy an episode of Soccer AM this Saturday

Parents/Guardians

  • Go out
    • The club is encouraging all parents and guardians to  enjoy their Friday night without the worry of travelling to a game on Saturday morning.
  • Sleep
    • The club is encouraging all parents and guardians to try to get more sleep than usual on a Saturday morning, if possible.
  • Buy a coffee with your 2 euro
    • The club is encouraging all parents/guardians to treat themselves to a fresh, takeaway coffee on Saturday morning.
  • Watch Soccer AM
    • The club is encouraging all parents/guardians to enjoy an episode of Soccer AM this Saturday.

Whatever your plans, Vale Wanderers hope you make the most of your Saturday off and stay safe during the expected bad weather.
